Account Access

The only way to get a mooncell.blue email address is manually by contacting BB, and the only way to change the password is also by manually contacting them

After getting a mooncell.blue email address, you can freely register for any of the other services without needing intervention from BB, as you would for a regular service, just make sure to always use your mooncell.blue email address when registering for mooncell.blue services

Keep in mind that almost all services hosted on mooncell.blue use encryption to secure your data, meaning that not even BB can see your data, but it also means that password resets restore only parts of your data

Theoretically, just as any other email provider, even ones like Proton Mail, BB can sniff traffic on port 25 and get your private email data that way (for more information, check Cock.li's "How can I trust you?" paragraph)

Usage

To access the email server use the provided Roundcube webmail server and login with your email username (without @mooncell.blue) and password

When using a clearnet Chat account, make sure to enable cross-signing, else you will lose access to your encrypted chat history if you lose your current device

Upon registration, an onion Chat account (using Dendrite) will be generated with the same credentials as your main account, which you can safely ignore if you do not plan on using the onion chat service
